NORVA's Affiliations and Membership Requirements

At this point NORVA is affiliated with VBA, and with the VFAA/NFAA. As you all are aware, we have been requiring membership in the VBA in order to become a member of NORVA.

Well we are considering changing this requirement to being a member of either the VBA or the VFAA/NFAA. We are interested in opinions on this topic and invite all members you would like to share these opinions to come to the meetings, so that as these changes unfold you can be sure to give your input.

A Note to Members

When entering and exiting the NORVA parking lot make sure you close and lock the gate behind you. There has been a problem with non-club members parking on the lot so they can go into the park and if they are there when you go to leave then they would be stuck without the combination. In one instance someone actually rammed the gate to get out.

Also, always set the lock to a different position than the combination when leaving the hasp open, this will prevent someone from finding out the combination.

Work Details

The archery ranges need upkeep on a regular basis. For large scale projects we have organized work details. But there are plenty of things that need taken care of that an individual can do.

Anyone interested in helping out on one of these work details or volunteer their time can contact: Justice Percell 703 877-2205.

Members who have worked 10 or more hours and recorded their time in the 10-Hour Logbook, your dues for next year will only be $50.00 rather then the normal $100.00.
